Yesterday I went with Gordon to go get his tattoo done in honor of AJ, kinda got choked up when it was all said and done and we saw it completed for the first time.  It is the beginning step of realizing he is really gone.  He was truly an American hero.  It is hard to not think of him in any other way.  The soliders that over seas fighting this war for our freedom are the ones that we should look up to, not Hollywood and all the actors and singers that so many of us idolize.  AJ gave his life so that our freedom and safety could still available.  For that I will forever be grateful to him.

It has been awesome to read all the amazing entries in the Dayton daily news guest book made in honor of him.  AJ was truly an amazing person.  It is just so hard to realize that he is gone from this earth for good.

Please continue to keep his family in your prayers.  He left behind his parents, two older brothers, and a younger brother.  His younger brother Ryan, who looked up to AJ so much has been handling everything sooo incredibly well.  He is just so proud of who his brother was.  In fact, Ryan has stated that when he graduates he wants to enter the Army and would love to be sent over to Iraq, if we are still over there when he enlist.  To him that would be the biggest honor, to serve and do what his brother did for his country.  I think that is the biggest tell tale of what kind of person AJ was, that even in his death he still has those who look up to him and want to follow in his footsteps.

AJ also left behind a girlfriend, abbie, whom he had been dating for the past 6 years.  This is a very hard time for her and I think she is taking it the hardest out of everyone

So it has been a tough last day or so.  Last night at about 1030 I got a phone call from my friend Ashley, that A.J., our friend that is stationed in Iraq was killed when his humvee ran over a roadside bomb.  It is so hard to imagine now that I know someone that has been killed in action.  It makes things so much more personal as to what is going on over in Iraq.  So if everyone would, would you please keep the Johnson family in your prayers and also his girlfriend Abbie.  They had been together on and off since our freshman year of High school.  She is having a really hard time, which is understandable.  My heart and prayers go out to every family that has a loved one or has lost a loved one during this time of war.

Ok, I suck at this right now!! My wireless internet on my laptop has not been working for a little while so that means I have to come upstairs and use my parents computer.  Nothing too much to report.  Just working and school and that is about it.  Madison turned 17 two weeks ago, it is soo weird that she is a senior this year and next year she will be away at school and I will still be living at home :-/.  OH WELL!!!

Got a long weekend of work ahead of me and that is all I am doing!  Yeah I know my life is really boring but oh well!

Man it has been a while since I have written on here.  My life has just been so busy lately that I havent been able to update this, the sad part is it has been exciting busy, just busy with work and school and nothing else.  OH WELL!  I got to see Walter this weekend, he came up to visit.  It was great to see him!  I felt bad for him though, he hit a deer on his way to my house!!!  Nothing serious the deer just bumped into his car or he bumped into the deer, one or other and then the deer ran off.   haha only that would happen to Walter

I paid for my bridesmaids dress for Ashley's wedding.  I am soo excited about it, April will be here before we know it.  It is soo weird that I am litteraly the only single person in my close group of friends, everyone else is either in a serious relationship or engaged or married....I am starting to feel old.  I am also starting to feel like I am going to be that single one that ends up old alone and living with 50 cats, GOD I HOPE NOT!!!

I am sooo bummed I just found out my friend matt was in town this past weekend and I didnt get to see him. We played phone tag all weekend and plus I had to work so I was really sad when I talked to him tonight and he was already back in Chicago.  I guess I will just have to wait til he comes back or I will have to go back to Chicago and see him....that doesnt sound like a bad idea I love Chicago.  I want to move out there in a year or so.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will work out and I will be able to.

I am soo bored I had class today and then didnt do anything else. Went to dinner with my grandma, that was nice, but other than that nothing at all.  Why is my life just so darn exciting!?!?!  YEAH RIGHT!  I dont work that much this week so that means I actually will have a little free time this week, to do what??? Probablly the same thing I did tonight NOTHING!  I am such a bum!  Oh well!  Have a great night everyone!  I am off to watch the Eagles-Falcons game.  Dont really care who wins, T.O. is cocky though and I dont like him, so I guess I am leaning a little bit more towards the Falcons.....
